Stephanie Brucker

Artistic Director / Owner

 

Stephanie Brucker received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Education from Brigham Young University. She was the Artistic Dance Director, Cavette Advisor, Aerobic Instructor and Dance Teacher at American Fork High School. During her time with the Cavettes, she received the Coach of the Year award. Her Cavettes won numerous awards including first time Region Champs. Stephanie's Dance Company received Superior rating at the High School Dance Festivals and traveled from New York to California participating in professional workshops. Stephanie has been teaching for the past 14 years and has taught at various studios in Utah County, UVSC and BYU for the Dance Department. She was a member of UVSC Synergy Modern Company, UVSC Dance Team, and BYU Dancensemble. She is also the director of one of the local P.A.L.S group in Utah County. She is a member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) and National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA)


 

 

Corinne Barton

Corinne started dancing at the age of 4 with Jacqueline's School of Ballet. She has performed in many ballets, including- The Nutcracker, Cinderella, La Coquette, and Hansel and Gretel. Dancing with TDC, she has performed the Dying Swan in Carnival, Sugar Plum in the Nutcracker, Ping- The Empty Pot and Wendy- Peter Pan. She plans on dancing in college and receiving her BA in Dance Education. She enjoys reading, sewing, and dance.She loves the positive atmosphere here at TDC, for the hard working skills and for efforts the kids bring to class.


 

Krisann Burton

Krisann began dancing as young child. She performed in productions such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Giselle. She taught ballet and choreographed at the Castle Country Classical Ballet School. Krisann enjoys art, fashion/ costume design, yoga, and being with her little girl and husband.


 

Jessica Crook

Jessica received her degree from BYU in Dance Education. She danced professionally in Taiwan's APDT, Modern Dance Company. She also taught dance at Lincoln American School in Taiwan. She is the co-director of the Diamond Dance Company and has choreographed for Music Man and Beauty and the Beast for Alpine Community Theater. Jessica has a green thumb and loves to be in her garden. She has four kids and one big kid— her husband. She loves teaching at TDC because of the focus of dance as an art form.


 

Alyssa Smith

Alyssa received her formal and professional dance training at the Conservatory Ballet of Washington, a High School connected with the Washington Academy of Performing Arts. She has studied with many famous teachers and choreographers including: Alan Hineline, Bene Arnold, Susan Jaffe, Gretchen Warren, Dennis Marshall, and Marjorie Grundvig. She has continued to dance with several professional companies and schools including: Just A Little Ballet Production Company,  New Vision Dance Company, Ballet Bellevue, and is currently pursuing two degrees at Brigham Young University; in both Dance and Athletic Training.  


Gentri Trinnaman

Gentri started dancing at the age of 3. She has studied Jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop and lyrical. In Junior High, she participated on Mountain Ridge Junior High's Dance Company. While attending Lone Peak High School, she was a member of the Region, State & National Drill Team. Gentri has received the National Soloist Champion Award. She was also involved with the dance classes during high school. After graduation, she danced and performed at Walt Disney World. She is currently coaching American Fork High Schools Drill Team and teaching at varies studios in Utah County. She loves teaching at TDC for the studio's professionalism and that the students want to dance, learn and grow.


 

Whitney De Groot

Whitney De Groot graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in DanceEducation. She performed nationally and internationally with the BYU Dancers’ Company for three years and performed and choreographed for the American College Dance Festival at the regional and national levels. She taught at Timberline Middle School, Mountain Ridge Junior High, Lone Peak High School, Timpanogos High School, and American Fork High School. Whitney loves teaching dance and loves being a mom.


 

Kaelyn Magee

Kaelyn Magee is from Carmel, California, and began her ballet training at age seven with local teachers. At the age of eleven, she began studying at The Studio School of Classical Ballet in Santa Cruz. She attended summer courses at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and Pacific Northwest Ballet School on scholarship. Ms. Magee joined Utah Regional Ballet as an Artist in 2008, and was promoted to principal in 2009. She has been featured in and performed leading roles in Jacqueline Colledge’s Romeo and Juliet, The Nutcracker, and Hansel and Gretel. Myrtha in Giselle and the Snow Pas de Deux from The Nutcracker are among her favorite danced roles.


 

Megan Harday

Megan has always been in love with dance! She grew up trying many dance styles, but especially loved modern, ballet, and jazz. In high school she traveled, choreographed, and performed with the Performing Dance Company and represented Lone Peak as their dance sterling scholar. She continued studying at BYU where she received her B.A. in Dance. Some highlights of her time at BYU include performing and choreographing with Dancensemble, studying dance abroad in China, and participating in the Student Dance Educators Organization. Since graduating, she has enjoyed teaching modern dance to students of all ages. Her favorite part of teaching is helping the students believe in themselves and watching them grow as a dancer and as a person. When she's not teaching she's enjoying family time with her husband and her adorable one year old son.
